The north London club has had some difficulties this season, which led to the dismissal of their head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. Official Wolves manager Jose Mourinho was replaced with the goal of pushing the club to the next level, but he was unable to do it with a group that many believe is capable of winning trophies.
Nuno was the head coach of Tottenham for only 17 games in all competitions, winning nine, drawing one, and losing seven.
Three of the defeats came against Crystal Palace, Chelsea, and Arsenal, each of which he scored three goals in.
Nuno was fired after a 3-0 loss against Manchester United, who have struggled to find rhythm since the start of the season.
After signing an 18-month deal, Tottenham will replace him with Antonio Conte on November 2, 2021.
Conte has the same dilemma as Nuno in that he has won nine of the 16 Premier League games he has played. Conte has only managed to defeat one of the top six teams, Manchester City.
Tottenham are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, with three games remaining. They will face Arsenal, who are currently in last place in the Champions League. Arsenal leads Tottenham by four points and has three games remaining, one of which is against Tottenham.
Let’s take a look at Tottenham’s remaining fixtures. They have Arsenal, Burnley, and Norwich, all of whom they can win two out of three. Arsenal’s opponents are Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, and Everton. Arsenal faces a difficult task in defeating Crystal Palace, while Everton is fighting to avoid relegation, having defeated top teams such as Manchester United and Chelsea in their last three games.
So, if Tottenham can beat Arsenal and win their final two games, they can hope that Arsenal will at least draw their final two games.
