According to reports from reputable Athletic UK Journalist David Ornstein, the Portugal international is a subject of interest from the London club and was one of the topics discussed in the meeting between Mendes and Boerhly that took place in the course of last week.
However, despite him being part of the discussion, it still remains unclear whether the Thomas Tuchel’s side will submit an official offer for him ahead of next season.
