From the outset, Barcelona asserted dominance, dictating play with over two-thirds of possession. However, their initial efforts failed to truly trouble Getafe’s goalkeeper, David Soria.
The breakthrough arrived in the 20th minute when Jules Koundé’s pass set Raphinha free, who calmly found the net, marking his return to the starting lineup with a goal.
Throughout the first half, Barça remained in control, though Getafe managed sporadic attempts on goal, notably denied by Marc-André ter Stegen.
