Practically, Jurgen Klopp’s side are 11 points behind the league leaders.
Although the Reds have started the season on the wrong note, they have lost to Manchester United and nearly lost to Brighton at their home last weekend.
However, you can’t write off Klopp and his boys in a big game.
Mike Arteta has to put out a strong team to defeat Liverpool for the very first time in a long time. Since Liverpool’s FA Cup defeat to Arsenal in 2020, they have not lost a single game to the Gunners.
And this is based on the structure and experienced quality in the reds side but I think Arsenal is also at that top level this season. They have only lost one game this season in all competitions.
Here’s how Mikel Arteta could set up a strong team to defeat Liverpool:
Goalkeeper
Aaron Ramsdale.
Defenders
Zinchenko, Gabriel Malgahaes, William Saliba, Ben White.
Midfielders
Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Martin Odegaard.
Forwards
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli.
