Arsenal’s perfect record came to an end when they were defeated by Manchester United in their most recent match. They started very well with the score early in the first half, but it was removed by VAR after a foul on Eriksen. Manchester United scored on a counter attack as Rashford passed the ball to Anthony.
Arsenal conceded in both halves and Arteta was really disappointed with the way the team played. After this afternoon’s game, they need to get their act back, work on getting different tactics and make sure they defend any counter attack against them. Arteta also needs to start Tomiyasu at right back in the next game.
He should also start against Vieria in the Europa League because Sambi Lokonga is not capable of stopping Manchester United. Today’s match showed why Arsenal needs to get Thomas Partey’s replacement before the season ends.
Manchester United have moved into the top 5 of the Premier League after losing their first two matches, and Arsenal still remain on top of the table.
