The 21-year-old Brazil International, who signed up for Palmeiras football club back in 2020 has been quite an impressive signing since he made the transfer move.
The young defensive midfielder was hugely influential for Palmeiras during the 2021/2022 season where he scored seven goals and created three assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
His excellent performances in midfield is believed to have impressed Arsenal board and according to reports from The Sun, the Gunners are keen on signing him this summer.
The reports further claimed that Arsenal football club are really interested in Danilo and have now submitted a bid worth up to £20million to lure the defensive midfielder to the Emirates Stadium.
It is believed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to further strengthen his options in midfield and he has identified Danilo as a needed addition to his team this summer.
But then, it remains to be seen if the proposed £20million transfer bid will be enough to convince Palmeiras into offloading the young Danilo to Arsenal football club this summer.
