The 17-year-old dynamic forward has regularly been an offensive danger at every age level since joining the Gunners at the age of 11. In July 2015, he transferred from Fulham to Arsenal’s academy.
Charles Jr. had an immediate impact as he scored the game-winning goal at 4-3 in the Papa John’s Trophy group stage match against Newport County after coming off the bench.
Charles Jr. played 29 games in all competitions last season, scoring ten goals and dishing out three assists.
Ovie Ejeheri has joined National League South side Chelmsford City on a short-term loan deal until January.
The goaltender, now 19 years old, first attended Arsenal’s academy when he was eight years old. Ovie made several appearances in the PL2 and Papa John’s Trophy last season and has progressed successfully through the age divisions.
Arsenal wish Ovie success in Chelmsford City while he’s there on loan. Arsenal is eager to observe his continued development.
