Arsenal kicked off the game strongly as they pushed forward for the opening goal in the 1st minute but their effort was blocked by Manchester City’s defense.

The home side continued to keep possession of the ball as they tried to create chances. Arsenal won a crucial free kick in the 4th minute but could not score from it.

Manchester City started a counterattack in the 6th minute but Arsenal’s defense was up to the task. The away side won a corner in the 7th minute.

The opening 10 minutes ended with the Gunners as the better team in terms of ball possession. Both teams continued to struggle to create any goal-scoring opportunities in the game.

Nketiah had his shot blocked in the 12th minute. Haaland missed an opportunity to open the lead in the 15th minute. The game was stopped in the 16th minute as Arsenal’s goalkeeper received treatment. A minute later the game restarted. Manchester City sat back as they planned to hit the home team on a counterattack.

Nketiah missed a glorious opportunity to give his team the lead in the 23rd minute. Arteta’s men won a corner a minute later but could not find the back of the net.

The deadlock was broken in the 24th minute as K. De Bruyne gave Manchester City the lead. Arsenal had an opportunity to equalize but Tomiyasu played his effort widely off-target.

The game was stopped in the 32nd minute as K. Walker receives treatment and a minute later it was restarted. The home side continued to push forward for an equalizer. Saka scored the equalizing goal in the 42nd minute from the penalty spot.

Manchester City missed a chance to take the lead again in the 44th minute. B. Silva was shown a yellow card in the 45th + 2 minutes. Manchester City won a crucial free kick in the 45th + 5 minutes and almost scored from it.
