He was arrested by the operatives of the Ogun State Police Command during a robbery operation. The robbery operation occurred at Mile 6 along Ajebo road in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Biodun Rasheed has confessed to have dressed like a Fulani herder to hide his identity.
The arrest of Biodun Rasheed shows that not all those who dress like herdsmen are from the Fulani ethnic groups. Some non-Fulanis do dress like herdsmen so that they can hide their identities.
The recent arrest is a clear warning to those disguising as Fulani herdsmen to perpetrate nefarious activities in other regions of Nigeria to desist from such act or they will soon be arrested by the men of the Nigerian Police Force.
The Police should be commended for arresting the Yoruba man who disguised as a Fulani herdsman to rob people in his community.
