Cristiano Ronaldo, a football player who kicked off his career at Sporting Lisbon a Portuguese based club is now making waves on one of the world’s biggest stages, the Saudi Pro League.
Al Nassr locked horns with Al Wehda in a league game that saw Ronaldo’s reputation glow. The first half was decorated with a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo as he scored in the 21st and 40th minutes to give Al Nassr a 2 goal lead before half time. 9 minutes into the second half saw Ronaldo complete his hat trick with a penalty kick.
The hat trick made it 61 in total for the Portuguese talisman. And in the 61st minute, he scored the 4th goal of the game and his 5th goal in total for Al Nassr.
These 4 goals also skyrocketed his career league goal tally to 503, the most of any football player in the history of football.
If you remember, his attacking partner, Talisca wasn’t available for the game due to the red card he received in the previous game that ended as a draw. During this match, Ronaldo was seen as the only goalscoring hope and he delivered to the core.
Well, we can’t say what exactly was wrong with Ronaldo’s performance but we can say that his relationship with the players at Al Nassr is far better than his relationship with the players back at Manchester United. His performance during the game against Al Wehda shows why he should be rated as a top player in the league.
