In a Facebook post, she faulted claims that she resigned due to some friction between her ministry and the office of the first lady.

According to her, she was called on to serve by both Governor Uzodinma and Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle almost at the same time. She decided to offer her services to Zamfara where she is married.

After putting in her best and enjoying the tremendous support of Governor Matawalle and his wife, she said she decided to also honor the request by the Governor of her State of origin, Imo.

Governor Uzodinma, she said had pleaded with her and informed Governor Matawalle of his desire that she joins his administration.

“I was actually appointed a Commissioner by my State Governor by birth Senator Hope Uzodinma almost the same time my State Governor by marriage Bello Matawalle appointed me a Commissioner in Zamfara State. I resigned my Zamfara appointment because my father His Royal Highness the oldest Monarch in Imo State and the Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma who is also quite close to His Excellency Governor Bello Matawalle as a fellow APC governor pleaded with me to serve in Imo State,” she posted.
