The former Presidential aide revealed this in a video posted on his verified Facebook page. He said that the former Presidential candidate who has contested many times is more fit to rule Nigeria.
Reno stated that the fact that Atiku is already employing 50,000 Nigerian youths is enough reason to give him that sit.
According to Omokri, Nigeria needs a working President that can provide enough employment opportunities for the unemployed Nigerian youths, stressing that the former vice President is currently one of the highest employers of labour.
Reno also claimed that the more than 50, 000 Nigerians currently under Atiku’s payroll are being paid more than the minimum wage.
He said, ” Earlier today, I called on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest for the 2023 Presidential election and he should do that under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. ”
” I did that whole heartedly and it is my choice. I supported him in 2019 and I will still support him in 2023. Atiku is the man that this country needs right now. He can revive this country. I believe in what he is doing.”
He added that many people have drawn his attention to the fact that Chile just elected a 35 year old as President. In his reply, Reno said that Nigeria is not Chile. He added that Nigeria has some peculiar challenges that need peculier solutions.
In addition, Omokri said that Nigeria has one of it’s greatest problems as unemployment and insecurity arises as a result of this same problem. He said that if the youths were gainfully employed and well paid, the issue would have since been solved.
In his final words, Reno said, ” Don’t elect someone because he is young. Yahaya Bello his young but look at the disaster he is causing in Kogi. President Buhari has almost destroyed the unity of this country. We need someone to unite us back as one and Atiku is our answer. ” Reno Omokri concluded.
