Unknown gunmen for some time now have been a menace in the Southern region and are wreaking havoc there. The activities of these criminal elements have drawn the attention of the federal government and several attempts and efforts are in place to flush them out.

I commend the Akwa State Police for swinging into action, as the investigation has already begun to fetch the culprit involved in this evil act. However, I urge the police to involve local security operatives in the community to make the process less time-consuming. Justice must prevail in this matter.
