He didn’t participate in their subsequent games against Cameroon and Switzerland, but he should against South Korea. Tite stated in his press conference on Sunday, prior to the match in the round of 16, that his star player should be available to play on Monday.
In a statement by the Brazil’s head coach, he said: “Neymar will practice this afternoon, and if everything is okay, he will play. Him being in the line-up will depends on whether the medical department clear him to play.”
This is a boost to the Brazilian side as they are aware of Neymar’s top quality on the pitch.
