Last season, Manchester City won the English Premier League title with one point as they finished above Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. That was the fourth league title the Cityzens would be winning in the last five seasons. Liverpool stood in their way in the 2019/20 as they went for three consecutive English Premier League titles.
As the dust settles on English Premier League action from last season, focus has now been shifted to the summer transfer window and after that, comes the 2022/23 season.
Watford, Norwich City, and Burnley were relegated from the English Premier League last season and they have been replaced by English Championship winner, Fulham, Bournemouth, and qualification playoff winners, Nottingham Forest, who are playing in the English Premier League for the first time in 23 years.
