Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has had a slow start to his Champions League campaign this season as we got to see him slightly underperform in the first half of the match between Napoli and Liverpool at the Diego Maradona Stadium.
We got to see the 23 year-old waste a sitter in the 1st minute of the match, as he fired a shot onto the bar from a promising angle.
He was eventually given an opportunity to extend his side’s lead from a penalty but once again the Nigerian International wasted the opportunity, as his spot kick was nicely saved by Alisson Becker in the 18th minute.
Despite his several misses, the 23 year-old was still solid in the attack and caused numerous problems to the Liverpool’s defence. Football fans recognized his performance in the first half and they took to Twitter to praise him for his display at the Diego Maradona Stadium.
