As known, Messi spent a major part of his football career playing for Barcelona, until he joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) last year. Playing for Barcelona, he was able to create some records in La Liga, and some of the records he created both in Barcelona and La Liga remain unbeaten to date.

Apart from the records he created in his club career, he recently created an astounding record in his international career as well. Based on the games played for Argentina between last year and this year, he has now won two (2) international trophies for his national team, and this has made a lot of his fans respect him more.

• He is Argentina’s all-time top scorer, having scored 86 goals for his national team.

• He is La Liga’s all-time top scorer. He has scored 474 goals in La Liga, and no other player has beaten that record – not even Cristiano Ronaldo.

• He has won the most Ballon D’or award in football history. He has now won 7 of the award. The closest to this record is Cristiano Ronaldo, who won 5 Ballon D’or awards.
