1. Goalkeeper – David De Gea.

2. Defenders.

A. Central defense: With Pau Torres set to link up with Manchester United this summer if the club eventually completes his transfer from Villarreal, the Spaniard is expected to link up with Raphael Varane in central defense.

B. Full-backs: The full backs position is expected to be occupied by the duo of Luke Shaw and Sergino Dest. The 21-year-old fullback is expected to join Manchester United this summer if the club can complete his transfer from Spanish Giants, Barcelona.

3. Midfielders: The midfield trio consists of Frenkie De Jong, Kante and Bruno Fernandes. De Jong who currently plays for Barcelona is expected to link up with Manchester United this summer if the club can acquire his services.

The same applies to Kante who has been heavily linked with a summer move to Manchester United in the last few days.

4. Forwards: The front three consists of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Antony who currently plays for Ajax. If Manchester United can convince Antony to join the club, he will be a huge addition to the team.

No doubt, with Paul Pogba set to leave the club, both Rashford and Maguire may be forced to give way from the starting line up if all transfer targets linked to Manchester United are signed. Both players were poor last season, and Erik Ten Hag may not like to rebuild his team around them.

However, I strongly believe Manchester United will be able to win next season’s EPL title with this line up most especially now that Ten Hag is in charge
