According to Telegraph Football, Arsenal are ready to explore a deal to sign England’s and Manchester City’s striker Raheem Sterling in an attempt to sharpen their attacking options considering that Eddie Nketiah will be out of contract in June.
The 27 year old hasn’t been a regular starter under Pep with Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Mahrez starting ahead of him and thus earger for playing time with Arteta keen on using his good relationship with Sterling to lure him to North London side.
Ideally, Sterling is a perfect target for Arteta considering that he’s already used to premier league as well his intense speed while with the ball.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen is still on Arteta’s radar but Manchester United might hijack the deal.
