In this article I will tell you how Hickeys happen and simple ways or steps that can help you get rid of them if you hate carrying marks that indicate that you’ve been intimate with your spouse.
Hickey can happen to anyone and it is not a bad thing or something to be embarrassed about as long as it is caused by your spouse. It can only be inappropriate you get it after infidelity or premarital engagement.
From another perspective, most people want to get rid of Hickey because they don’t want people to have an idea of what they’ve been up to within their personal space.
Hickey is caused when there is a cluster of constrained red blood cells in a particular area of your neck because of the pressure applied to that area by the lips of your spouse during kissing and Intimacy.
You can prevent it by telling your spouse to focus on other areas of your body when kissing instead of only one area but in a case where it forms, here is how to help get rid of it from your neck.
The simple way to help get rid of Hickey from your neck is by putting ice on the affected area. Wrap the ice in a towel and place on the area of your neck where the Hickey formed for a couple of minutes (10-15) for a duration of about two days.
This will help calm down the inflammation around that area and help cool off the cluster of blood capillaries in that area. By doing this the Hickey or mark will start clearing off and depending on the intensity, it might totally clear off before two days or more.
