Mount has been one of the Blues most impactful players over the seasons – but his time is up at the club after he failed to agree a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
It has been claimed on many occasions that Mount has asked for a deal close to £200k-a-week – but the Chelsea board are not prepared to pay that amount for the midfielder.
The Chelsea midfielder is moving closer to sealing a move to Old Trafford after he reportedly agreed personal terms with the Manchester giants
Now, Football Insider has learned that Mount will earn around £200,000-per-week at Old Trafford as they look to reach an agreement by the end of the week.
Former Man United defender John O’Shea recently gave his seal of approval for the Red Devils’ signing of the England international.
O’Shea told talkSPORT Breakfast: “He’s [Mount] definitely shown over the last few years in the Premier League and in Europe the quality he possesses.
“And if you think how he’s performed for England too, he’s definitely a player you’d be looking at and if they can get business like that done early, it’s a fantastic addition and he will add to the goals in terms of creating and scoring them himself too.
“So if that is a done deal, it’s a great bit of business early, because look at Chelsea, Chelsea have nearly three squads, there will be plenty of players coming and going in the summer as well.”
Mount is a hard-working player that has been loved by many Chelsea fans – but what does he actually do on the pitch.
Man United fans know the job of Bruno Fernandes, they know what Christian Eriksen brings and they know what Casemiro does in the middle of the pitch.
