1. Constant smoking of tobacco

Tobacco contains nicotine, a chemical compound which can raise the blood pressure. Therefore, when you smoke tobacco regularly, it will increase your risk of developing stroke especially when you are getting old.

2. Excessive consumption of alcohol

When you have a habit of drinking too much alcohol, it can make you develop stroke in your body. Alcohol causes toxicity in your body thereby raising your blood pressure and triglycerides levels. This will cause plaque buildup in your arteries and that can narrow your blood vessels.
