Football players are celebrities that most people look up to as their role models, but sometimes we do forget that they are humans after all, with blood running through their veins.

Last night, we witnessed Paulo Dybala showing an emotional side of him after the game against Lazio.

The Argentine has always been fans’ favorite throughout his 7-year spell in Turin, and after playing his last home game for Juventus yesterday, he couldn’t hold back the tears as he bade the supporters farewell.

5. Hector Bellerin (Real Betis).

The Spanish fullback was loaned to Betis at the beginning of this season, and after playing his last home match for them, he was spotted in tears and even sat on the club’s pitch long after the game was concluded.

Bellerin is expected to be back at Arsenal this summer.

4. Francesco Totti (AS Roma).

Totti only ever played for one club his entire senior career despite having lucrative offers come his way during his playing days.

The World Cup winner played his last match for Roma on the 28th of May 2017 and was visibly trying to force back the tears after the game.

3. Xavi Hernandez (FC Barcelona).

Xavi came through the ranks at Barça and went on to become a key player for his boyhood club for so many years.

However, after winning the treble in 2015, Xavi decided it was time to call it time on his Barcelona career and from his facial expression during his farewell speech, you could see how emotional he was.

2. Luis Suárez (Atletico Madrid).

Suárez joined Atletico in 2020 in a £6.5 million deal after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Barcelona.
