1. Sugary foods.

People with hypertension should avoid consuming sugary foods because it makes their blood pressure higher. You can take your tea or other foods without sugar. If you need to add any sweetener, add a small amount of honey.

2. Salty foods

When you notice that your blood pressure is high, avoid consuming salty foods. When you keep consuming salty foods, it will keep raising your blood pressure. If you need to add any salt, you can go for sea salt.

3. Food and drinks that contain caffeine.

Foods rich in caffeine are not suitable for people with hypertension. Hypertensive patients should stay away from energy drinks, chocolate and even sodas. These foods further increase your blood pressure levels.

4. Processed meat.
