Apart from Real Madrid, Manchester City and their direct rivals Liverpool football club are very active this summer, with the duo getting hold of attacking reinforcement in the name of Erling Haaland and Uruguayan Darwin Nunez respectively.

Although Manchester United and Chelsea as well as other few clubs are yet to complete an official deal, here are four signings that could be completed before the pre-season tour.

1. Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal.

Arsenal is keen on attacking reinforcement. Despite ruling Fabio Vieira from Porto, the Gunners, according to the reports have agreed on a deal with Manchester City in principle for the signature of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus.

2. Kalvin Philips to Manchester City.

The Englishman is one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League. After a wonderful season in the 2020/21 season, Southgate had to reward him with England’s first-team call-up where he did well in Euro 2020.

3. Frenkie De Jong to Manchester United.

The new Red Devils manager Erik Ten Hag identified Frenkie as his priority this summer. Trusted reports made it known that Manchester United submitted an initial bid which was kicked back by Barcelona, but now the Old Trafford outfit is preparing another improved bid which could see Barcelona come to the table with them.

4. Matthijs De Light to Chelsea.

Chelsea is currently seeking a replacement for Antonio Rudiger who joined Real Madrid earlier this month. The Blues has identified Juventus De Light as the right man to do the job and has currently offered Juventus Timo Werner as part of the Netherlands deal.
