What Are The Signs Of Low Folic Acid in the body?

1. Constant diarrhea; if you start having or suffering diarrhea more regularly than normal, do well to go for checkup to know if the level of folate in your body is still high; because lack of folate in the blood can result in constant diarrhea.

2. Reduced sense of taste; sometimes we take lack of taste or sense of taste as normal but it’s not always normal. In most cases, chronically reduced sense of taste could be due to lack of folic acid in the body.

3. Pins and needles feeling in the hands and legs. This is one of the disturbing signs of lack of folic acid in the body. If the body is running short of folic acid, you might start noticing numbness and tingling pain in the hands and feet.
