Before the game, Arsenal were the second best team in the Premier League based on goal difference but, after scoring two goals against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, the Gunners now have the same goal difference as Manchester City who are currently occupying second position in the premier league.
In view of this, I’ve decided to put up this article to highlight four Arsenal players with the most number of goals and assists in the premier league this season.
The first player on the list is Bukayo Saka who plays as a winger for the North London club. Saka who has been one of Arsenal’s outstanding players this season, has scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists for the Gunners, making it 13 goal contributions in the premier league this season.
The second player on the list is Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian winger who has established himself as a mainstay in this Arsenal team, has scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in the Premier League this season.
Gabriel Jesus who has been injured since the world cup break, occupies third position on the list. The Brazilian forward, scored five goals and provided 5 assists for Arsenal before he was sidelined by injury.
Just like the three forwards mentioned above, Martin Odegaard has also been prolific in front of goal for the Gunners. The Norwegian International who scored Arsenal’s second goal against Tottenham on Sunday, has scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists for the Gunners so far.
