With the above-listed fixtures, and judging by their performance in the pre-season, Manchester United is not yet ready to comfortably play against top teams. In my opinion, Manchester will probably lose against Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
It’s no doubt that the above-mentioned teams are very much more prepared than Manchester United. This is from the perspective of the various signings they have made so far respectively, and also from the team’s organization.
With the matches they played so far, mostly during the pre-season games, Manchester United is lagging even under a new manager.
