People with weakened or sensitive immune systems should avoid smoked salmon, especially cold varieties, as they can easily be contaminated with bacteria that are harmful to their health.

2. Sodium content is very high in smoked fish.

It has been discovered that smoked fish has a high salt content. Excess salt consumption increases your risk of stroke and other heart diseases. It’s critical to limit your intake of smoked fish if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure.
