Aside the league, the UEFA Champions league is another football tournament that is been anticipated and so far, only 26 teams have booked their place in the group stage of the competition.
The 26 teams came as a result of the guideline of UEFA as regards to the qualification for the competition. It states that the top 4 teams from the 4 highest ranked leagues(EPL, La Liga, Bundealiga and Serie A) based on the UEFA Coefficient will qualify automatically.
Then the teams ranked first and second from the 5th and 6th placed team according to the UEFA ranking will also qualify automatically.
Finally the league winners from the 7th to 12th(Dutch, Russia Belgium, Austria,Scotland and Ukraine) placed league(excluding Russian league who were banned by UEFA) according to UEFA ranking will make it to the group stage. The Europa league winners, Eintracht Frankfurt also makes the list. These teams are:
