Remember that Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, had declared Tinubu the winner of the just held Presidential election in the early hours of Wednesday.
In the presidential election held last Saturday, Tinubu triumphed over candidates including Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour Party to become the new president.
In a statement released this morning in response to Tinubu’s victory, Ganduje praised Tinubu’s political dynasty’s dedication and hard work in a fast statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Abba Anwar.
In his words, “Tinubu’s real commitment to people, national progress, and national integration played some crucial roles in appealing him to all sectors of the country.
“Nigerians are aware of Tinubu’s long-running battle to restore democracy in the nation. So, we perceive wisdom and good justifications for entrusting him with our destiny.”
