Emilio Nsue from Equatorial Guinea continues to hold the top position as the leading goal scorer with five goals, despite his team’s unfortunate elimination in the round of 16.
Tailing behind Nsue are Gelson Dala from Angola and Mostafa Mohamed from Egypt, both with four goals each.
It is worth noting that the quarter-final stage matches of the AFCON were concluded on Saturday night, determining Nigeria, Congo DR, Cote d’Ivoire, and South Africa as the teams that have secured their spots in the last four.
As of now, the top goal scorers at the 2023 AFCON are as follows:
