Many have wondered why Sadio Mane is adamant to leave the club despite his achievements in the previous seasons. It seems the Liverpool forward is underappreciated at the club. This article takes a look at Mane’s current wages and the two non-regular starters who earn higher than him.

According to the Liverpool FC website, Sadio Mane currently earns £100,000 per week. He earns just £5, 200,000 in annual salary. (See photo below)

While Mane earns just £100,000 per week, some none regular starters earn higher than him. These 2 players usually come in as a substitute, especially during key matches yet they earn higher than Sadio Mane.

1. Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain

Chamberlain is a non-regular starter in the club. He usually features in Liverpool’s starting lineup during domestic games. Chamberlain currently earns £120,000 per week and £6,240,000 in annual salary.

With Mane earning just £100,000 per week, he seems to be underappreciated at the club and this might be the reason why he wants a new challenge elsewhere. Recall that Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger also left Stamford Bridge because of this same reason.
