Processed beef is one of the worst offenders, albeit it is by no means the worst. Here are seven additional foods to avoid that are linked to cancer: One of the worst offenders is beef that has undergone processing.

It is one of the foods having the highest potential to cause cancer, according to study from the World Health Organization from 2015. It is merely acknowledged as one option among several.

The Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences recommends avoiding 10 more foods if you wish to prevent cancer.

1. Sunflower seeds: Despite appearances, sunflower seeds are prone to ingesting and accumulating heavy metallic compounds, particularly if they are grown in soils that are highly contaminated with metals. Heavy metals have a reputation for causing lung cancer.

2. Chewing gum: Although the gum base itself is benign, some of the chemical components in gum are dangerous. Aspartame and titanium dioxide are two examples. So be sure those aren’t in the ingredient list the next time you buy gum by checking the list of ingredients.

3. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG): Despite being regularly added to food to improve and increase flavor, research suggests that monosodium glutamate (MSG) may be detrimental to human health.

4. Pork liver: Because it contains a lot of LDL cholesterol, pork liver has been connected to a number of diseases, including liver cancer.

5. Glass and rice noodles: Alum is a key ingredient in these noodles. Numerous research have found associations between aluminum and breast cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

Pickling them, however, will be detrimental rather than beneficial, claims the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It is believed that eating pickled vegetables increases the risk of stomach cancer.

7. Juice in a bottle: Juice is nutritious because it is created from fruit, which is healthful. Right? Both yes and no. Despite their benefits for fitness, fruits have a lot of sugar in them.

Juices are not always prepared entirely from fruit, though. In reality, the majority of drinks in bottles are loaded with sugar and synthetic flavors.
