He said that the late governor ‘s wife Betty and son Jide are to blame for his demise.
The accuser, Jimi Adeleke, very obviously aggrieved and disappointed in a tik tok video online, described the day as a sad one in the history of Ondo State made sadder by the fact that his wife abandoned him at the time he needed her most Rather than show genuine concern while the ex-govenor fought the battle of his life, Adeleke said the two accused persons, instead, busied themselves grabbing the man’s choice investments including houses and fish pond in Owo, Ibadan and Lagos.
Addressing the good people of Ondo State, he declared the day as a black Wednesday, blaming it on a selfish wife.”Folks, there is nothing that kills a man than having a bad wife.
“You may not know, but I have been following all the events, Akeredolu did not enjoy his last days on earth despite all the wealth and this is a big lesson to we that he left behind “.He asserted that a man’s health challenges could be better if he had a wife that could stand by him, but that Betty conducted herself as if she did not believe in prayer.
He said, the woman busied herself cornering choice properties in Owo, Ibadan and Lagos.”But it is a big lesson to all of us.
It is a big lesson even to Betty herself, that is acquiring the whole of everything in this earth, having the biggest fish pond in Nigeria, building the biggest hospital in her village, turning her village into a Mecca, having choice properties across Nigeria, in Ore, Ibadan, in Lagos; building hotel, buying houses; they bought all the streets, they bought almost all the houses in Owo, today, where are we?”.Asserting that Akeredolu’s death should be blamed on a bad wife, he added:”
When Akeredolu came back from Germany, Betty purposely brought him because of the economic looting. He brought Akeredolu as a decoy to steal from Ondo State, and he stole heavily”.
He alleged that, unfortunately, that the ex-govenor was literally abandoned at Ibadan, such that the three caregivers brought for him had to leave when they were not being paid.
According to him, even President Bola Tinubu rallied support for the ailing governor by providing an air ambulance to fly him to Germany for treatment, and that all through this time, the wife was nowhere to be found.
According to him it was the height of betrayal for Betty to have failed to accompany the husband to Germany but instead allowed Runsewe, the daughter to do so.”
I am sure that Akeredolu, on his way to Getmany, he would regret it: O God, so this woman is not here with me.”No matter how bad a Yoruba woman is, I am not tribal here, I am just telling you the reality, a Yoruba wife could not abandon the husband at that critical hour.”
How would it have been, so nice that we heard Akeredolu died in Germany in the hands of Betty. But Betty was in Akure gallivanting, supervising how to steel money, supervising the fish pond when she heard that Akeredolu was gone.
