Submitted earlier this year, Adani’s privately initiated proposal (PIP) outlines a 30-year concession plan that promises to significantly enhance the airport’s infrastructure and operational efficiency.

At the heart of the proposal is a substantial investment aimed at modernizing and expanding JKIA. Adani plans to inject $750 million into the development of a new terminal building, an upgraded apron and taxiway system, and the addition of two rapid exit taxiways.
