They have been linked with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and most importantly, Enzo Fernandez.
The latter was close to joining Chelsea early in the window but a disagreement in fees between both his club side, Benfica and Chelsea led to a breakdown of the deal.
However, there is a chance that the deal could be revived although time is of the essence. But Chelsea will need Fernandez’s assistance as a serious push from the Player himself could help make the move happen.
Chelsea will definitely have to up their fee for Fernandez to a reasonable amount that will show Benfica that they are serious before any agreement for the Player can be reached. It will be a great way to end the January Transfer window for Chelsea.
