Over the past couple of seasons – Saka has developed into one of the most exciting young players in the game and a star that the club have big plans for in the coming seasons
However – his brilliantness on the pitch on a weekly basis has led to many reports that the likes of Real Madrid – Man City and Liverpool are all very much interested in trying to get some kind of deal done in the coming transfer windows
Arsenal are working on a deal that would see Saka get the kind of wages that he deserves -but nothing has been agreed just yet and until that announcement gets made – there will continue to be speculation
What has he said?
The Gunners have started the new season in fine fashion – despite that loss to Man United at the weekend – and Saka now wants to see the club push on to try and win trophies
‘That’s my goal,’ he said, as quoted by The Daily Mail.
‘The next step for us it to try to bring [the club] some trophies.’
Saka has big dreams to win trophies and become one of the best players in the game – Arsenal are on the right track to get back into the habit of winning things
They are still off the level of Man City and Liverpool – but they are getting there
Saka is young enough to stick around at the Emirates and wait to see if he can win trophies with the Gunners – and if not – then there will be many clubs interested in a potential deal
But with him in the side – they have a good chance of winning something this season
