He was released pending a ruling on whether the court will defer his plea taking on allegations of being in possession of unlicensed firearms.

AG Dorcas Oduor sworn-in
The new Attorney General Dorcas Oduor took the oath of office making her the first woman AG in the country.
Moments after being sworn in, she was introduced to her official ride at State House, Nairobi.
The vehicle, marked with the registration number AG 001 and adorned with a flag, symbolises her new role and responsibility in government.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga for the first time shared the stage with a section of Cabinet Secretaries.
It was one of a kind since the formation of the “broad-based” cabinet.
They included John Mbadi (Treasury), Aden Duale (Environment) and Alice Wahome (Lands) among other guests.
