However the likes of Falz, Seun Kuti and Mr macaroni have rejected the invitation from the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. They expressed their opinions and points that won’t make them participate in the peace walk being proposed by the governor and below are the vital points to debate and expanciate on:
– Mr Macaroni who reacted to the governor’s invite via his social media handle specifically made it clear that he was molested and dehumanized during his last walk in the state hence he is not ready for any walk. He however, said the government should enact the recommendations of the judicial panel which was setup by them.
It will be recalled that, Mr Macaroni was arrested and dehumanized during his last involvement in Endsars movement. The comedian who is also an activist was molested by the police after he was arrested during movement against re-opening of Lekki toll gate and neither the Lagos State police command nor the Lagos State government apologized for the inhumane treatment he was subjected to.

It still baffles many and probably Mr Macaroni himself why the government of Lagos State thinks he will want to be involved in a program that has to do with them. I think the Lagos State government and the Lagos state police command owe Mr Macaroni an apology for the way he was treated while acting within his civil right.
Lagos State government should also know that to achieve peace in the state the recommendations of the panel they setup to investigate the shooting incident at Lekki must also be enacted, because of what use is the judicial panel that was setup by Lagos State government if they knew they were not going to adhere to the recommendations of the panel, it will be a total waste of time and denial of justice if Lagos State government drop the recommendations of the panel that was setup by them.
– Falz and Seun Anikulapo Kuti made it clear that justice must be given to the victims of police brutality before the government can talk of peace.

I don’t think this is even debatable, for peace walk to take place, Justice and truth must have been given to the alleged victims of police brutality, the government of the state should know better, in order for total peace to rain, all involved individuals must be given closure.
