The former Flying Eagles of Nigeria star has been superb for Pyunik Yerevan FC in all competitions this season and his excellent performance has never gone unnoticed.
Yusuf was given a starting role by his coach in their last game against Shirak Gyumri FC last weekend, following his outstanding performance for the club and he was able to guide them to a hard-fought 1-0 away victory.
The Nigerian star’s impressive goal scoring form started against Slovan Bratislava football club in the UEFA Europa Conference League, before scoring against the likes of Urartu FC, Alashkert FC, Zalgiris Vilnius FC and Ararat-Armenia FC.
The goal against Ararat-Armenia FC has now marked Yusuf Otubanjo’s 5th goal in his last 7 matches for Pyunik Yerevan football club in all competitions.
Reacting to in-form Nigerian star Yusuf Otubanjo’s impressive goal scoring form for Pyunik FC this season, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday that;
“Yusuf Otubanjo has scored five goals in his last seven appearances for Pyunik”
The Nigerian star will now be looking forward to continuing his impressive goal scoring form when they play their next game in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday.
