The youngster was announced as the best player of the year by England via their official website on Friday, after he was voted as the best player by England national team fans.
Bukayo Saka made his national team debut for the Three Lions of England in 2020, following his outstanding performance for Arsenal football club in all competitions.
Ever since making his debut for the Three Lions of England, Bukayo Saka has been one of the best players in the team, and he has been able to play a lot of matches for the team.
The 21-year-old guided Gareth Southgate led English national team to the final of last edition of the UEFA Euro 2020, before losing to Italy national team via penalty shootout.
Reacting after Bukayo Saka won England national team’s player of the year award, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle that;
“Bukayo Saka 2021/2022 England Men’s Player of the year, well done.”
