The Blues will begin their league campaign away at Everton in a little more than a week, while Udinese will play either Sudtirol or FeralpiSalo in their next Coppa Italia match.
Udinese had a strong season last year, finishing 12th in Serie A, which was the club’s joint-best place in Italy’s top division since 2013.
On August 5, the White and Blacks will play Sudtirol or FeralpiSalo in the Coppa Italia. On August 13, they will host defending Serie A champions AC Milan.
Udinese played four times this summer in friendlies, including a 2-1 victory over Pafos on July 25. This came after a 2-1 loss to Bundesliga powerhouse Bayer Leverkusen.
Chelsea, on the other hand, will enter this game coming off a 4-0 loss to Premier League rivals Arsenal in their final preseason encounter on July 23rd.
Following the four-goal defeat in Florida, head coach Thomas Tuchel criticised his team, doubting the dedication of his players and asserting that they “deserved to lose.”
CONCLUSION:
Following their dismal performance against Arsenal last time out, Chelsea manager Tuchel will be seeking a response from his players, and I am anticipating an improvement from the Blues.
