At the San Siro, Chelsea defeated AC Milan 2-0. The visitors earned a victory thanks to Jorginho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored against a middling Milan team.
Fikayo Tomori, a former Chelsea defender, was sent off during the first half for a foul on Mason Mount in the penalty area.
In the other Group E Fixture, Dinamo Zagreb played a 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg. Ljubicic was on the scoresheet for the home team while Seiwald scored Salzburg’s only goal.
