One of the Northern APC Controlled States that the Party, may win easily in 2023 is Gombe State. It should be recalled that the Governor of the State, Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahya and the former Governor of the State, Senator Danjuma Goje are not having cordial relationship, with each other.
It was reliably gathered that Danjuma Goje does not want Governor Inuwa, to return as Governor of the State, in 2023. Investigations revealed that Senator Goje has Preferred Candidate, who is Presently A Member of the Federal House of Assembly, in the Senatorial district, where Senator Goje is representing, as Senator.
The impression of the masses is that, If Senator Danjuma Goje should turn his back to Governor Inuwa, he may find it very difficult to win the forthcoming Governorship election, in the State.
However, Governor Inuwa may Deliver the State for APC, in 2023 Governorship Election in the State, due to one reason or the other.
Recently, The Lawmaker, representing Shongom constituency of the State House of Assembly, Honourable Asma’u Iganus, defected to APC in the State. Governor Inuwa and some Prominent Leaders of APC, received the Lawmaker, into the Party.
The defection of the Lawmaker into APC shows that the Party stand better chance of winning the forthcoming Governorship Polls, irrespective of the crisis rocking the Party, in the state.
Governor Inuwa has all the resources in his capacity to influence the forthcoming Governorship election, in the state, Even if the Senator Danjuma Goje, works against his second term Governorship Ambition.
Another Northern APC controlled State that the Party may win easily in 2023, is Zamfara State. It is no more news that the Governor of the State, Governor Bello Matawalle, and his Predecessor, Abdul’aziz Yari are fighting each other, over the Leadership of the Party in the State.
It was reliably gathered that there was Power tussle, between the Governor of the State, Governor Matawalle, Abdul’aziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Marafa.
Investigation has it that, Both Yari and Senator Marafa, ganged up, against Governor Matawalle in the state, but the fact is, Governor Matawalle will deliver the State for APC, in the forthcoming Governorship election, because he has Power, over them as Governor of the state.
The reason is that Governor Matawalle has the support of the National executives of the Party, and he will find it very easy to influence the Polls, very easy.
It should be recalled that Governor Matawalle, will contest his second term Governorship election and he will be very easy for him, to win the Governorship race, with the support of President Muhammadu Buhari.
