Thus, in the midst of all these, different clubs have shown interest in the Portuguese striker, and as such, some of them are pushing hard to sign him.
One of the clubs that are reportedly interested in the player is Chelsea.
Earlier this summer, one of the key players in the club, Romelu Lukaku, left Chelsea and was transferred to Inter Milan on a loan. Thus, losing the striker, Chelsea needs to sign a more experienced striker ahead of the next football season.
Based on the recent transfer news, one of the players Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing is Neymar. Neymar is reportedly leaving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer, and if this happens, he would need to join a new club.
Although Chelsea is pushing hard to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, the deal isn’t pulled out yet. Thus, this means that the two options left for Chelsea before next season are Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arguably, the two players are among the top players in the world, and they have created astounding records in their respective football careers. While Ronaldo is rated as the “Greatest of All Time,” Neymar is also rated among the best players the world has ever seen.
Thus, if Chelsea can offer Manchester United a satisfactory deal for Ronaldo, and offer Neymar a reasonable deal, then, the club would have the biggest signings for this summer.
If these two deals should be completed, then, Chelsea’s Attack might be the strongest in the Premier League next season.
Already, Liverpool and Manchester City have signed Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland respectively. However, both Nunez and Haaland aren’t as experienced as both Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.
Hence, if Chelsea should sign the two players, then, the team will have both experienced and strong players.
