Former Barcelona and Atlético Madrid star, Luis Suarez has officially joined his boyhood club, Nacional.
2. Everton sign Ruben Vinagre on loan
Ruben Vinagre is now an Everton player. The English club signed Vinagre on a season-long loan deal. The paperwork has been signed between Sporting and Everton. The loan move includes a buy option clause. The player has completed his medical already. Everton will pay his full salary for the duration of the loan.
Ajax Increase their asking price for Man United target
According to popular sports journalist, Mike Verweij, Ajax have increased their asking price for Man United target, Antony from €80 million to €100 million including add-ons. Ajax have taken this course of action due to their reluctance to sell the 22-year-old this summer.
Speaking on Antony, Ajax manager Schreuder told Mike Verweij: “Internally we have agreed that we want to keep the current squad together. Nobody wants to sell him”.
“Antony is working well. I don’t have the feeling that he’s busy with a transfer”, he added.
Xavi wants to keep Sergino Dest
According to Fabrizio Romano, Barça manager Xavi has confirmed his plans to keep Dest at the club. Speaking about the player, Xavi said: “He’s fast and defends well. He’s a good player, still young and important for the future”.
Tomori confirms negotiations to extend his AC Milan contract
Fikayo Tomori has confirmed negotiations are ongoing to extend his contract with AC Milan. The player told Gazzetta: “Yes, we’re in talks and I really like everything here in Milano”.
Both parties have been negotiating a five-year deal since May with talks progressing well.
