Feyenoord midfielder Jens Toornstra has signed with Utrecht on a term through 2025, with an option for an additional year.
Toornstra switched teams in 2014 from Utrecht to Feyenoord.
The 33-year-old contract with Feyenoord still had one year to run, but with fewer opportunities to play than in previous seasons, Toornstra decided to split ways.
The midfielder’s current deal with Utrecht runs through 2025, with an additional year’s option.
Emerson Palmieri, an Italian international, has signed a four-year contract with Premier League team West Ham United, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old, who transferred from AS Roma to Chelsea in 2018, was unable to establish himself as a regular at Stamford Bridge and spent the previous year on loan at Lyon in France. For Chelsea, he made 71 games across all leagues.
Manchester United virtually agree to sign Ajax winger.
According to reports, Manchester United and Ajax winger Antony have “virtually agreed everything” to be the Reds Devil’s new signing.
With little over a week left until the September 1 deadline, a deal for the 22-year-old is reportedly nearly finished, according to The Independent.
The two clubs agreeing on a player’s fee is reportedly the only thing standing in the way of the transaction.
Personal terms are believed to have settled already, so a deal for Antony should move through quickly should the clubs be able to agree on a fee that benefits all parties.
United is trying to negotiate a cheaper price with Ajax, who is reportedly asking for £75 million for the winger with the least amount of experience.
