Marcus Rashford is close to signing a new deal with Manchester United. The striker just have one year left in his current contract which will expire in June 2024. Negotiations are on final stages as the player is keen on staying at the club.
Jorginho wants Arsenal stay
Jorginho is ready to snub interest from Lazio to stay at Arsenal, writes Simon Collings. Former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants to be reunited with Jorginho but the midfielder is not keen on a return to Serie A. Arsenal are plotting an overhaul of their midfield this summer, with a third offer for Declan Rice to come.
They are also targeting Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, though any further moves depend on player sales. Arsenal are looking to offload Thomas Partey instead of Jorginho – the Italian has a contract with the Gunners until the end of next season and the club have an option for a further year.
Joâo Cancelo to leave Man City this summer
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Joâo Cancelo will leave Manchester City this summer. The decision is clear on both the player and the club side. Barcelona remain interested in signing Cancelo once he leaves Man City but it is depending on Financial Fair Play rule.
Arsenal have ‘agreement in principle’ for Havertz
Kai Havertz’s Arsenal move appears to be drawing closer, with The Athletic reporting that the German international has an ‘agreement in principle’ with the club.
Next up for the former Chelsea star is a medical. The deal for Havertz is said to be worth up to £65m including add-ons.
