Tottenham have confirmed the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski. The winger has spent the last 18 months in north London on loan from Juventus, and that move has now been made a permanent one to ensure Kulusevski remains at Spurs.
A fee of £25.6million has been agreed with Juventus, negotiated down from the initial buy option included in the loan agreement, with the 23-year-old commiting his future to Tottenham by signing a five-year contract.
Newcastle to target Cucurella
Newcastle have added Chelsea’s Spanish defender Marc Cucurella to their list of summer transfer targets as they plan for the Champions League.
It was current St. James’ Park sporting director Dan Ashworth who brought the long haired raiding full back to Brighton from Getafe when he was the club’s technical director. After just one season on the south coast where he was named player of the year Cucurella moved to Chelsea last August for £60million.
Walker in ‘advanced’ Bayern talks
Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker is in talks over a Bayern Munich switch, according to Sky Sport in Germany. Bayern loaned Walker’s City team-mate Joao Cancelo for the second half of last season, and have now turned their attentions to the former Spurs man. Thomas Tuchel, manager of the German champions, is said to be a big driver of the proposed move.
